AICS DISTRIBUTION. Members of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), headed by Edna Duaso, on June 17, 2024 assisted the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in the distribution of financial assistance to 495 indigent residents under the Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situations (AICS) program.
The said AICS program is in coordination with Sen. Pia Cayetano.
Mayor Carmelo โPogiโ Lazatin Jr. thanked Sen. Cayetano for providing the said assistance to Angeleรฑos.
City Councilor Atty. Arvin Suller represented Mayor Lazatin during the distribution of assistance.
The AICS program is a social safety net or a stop-gap mechanism to support the recovery of individuals and families from unexpected crisis such as illness or death of a family member, and other crisis situations.
