The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) โ Zambales 2nd District Engineering Office (DEO), in collaboration with the District Engineers League of the Philippines, Inc. (DELP), recently distributed school supply kits at Judd Hendricks Memorial Aeta School in San Marcelino.
Now in its 7th year, DELPโs โGamit Pang-Eskwela Handog ay Sayaโ program benefited a total of 130 Aeta students, each receiving essential school supplies, including bags, pencil cases, ball pens, erasers, coloring materials, notebooks, and slippers.
In his message, Engr. Rey M. Lerio, Officer-In-Charge of the District Engineerโs Office, emphasized the importance of supporting students in underserved areas by providing essential educational materials.
Lerio said.
Meanwhile, Teacher-In-Charge Cliffton C. Jayma expressed heartfelt appreciation to the DPWH for selecting their school as the beneficiary, highlighting the significant impact of this initiative on supporting their studentsโ educational journey.
Jayma remarked.
The success of this outreach activity underscores the Zambales 2nd DEO and DELPโs dedication to supporting underserved communities and making a meaningful difference by providing essential educational materials as students return for the new school year.
