Bago ito, ang huling kaso ay naiulat noong Disyembre 2023. Ang lahat ng mga naunang kaso ay na-isolate, naagapan, at gumaling na sa sakit.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH)-Bataan 3rd District Engineering Office (DEO) initiated immediate cleaning and clearing operations on national road sections following Typhoon Carina, which brought torrential rains to Central Luzon during its peak on July 24–25, 2024.

The district office’s Disaster Quick Response Team (QRT), led by Maintenance Section Acting Chief Delfin Francia, undertook a range of activities during and after the heavy rains to enhance public safety, including clearing debris from roadways and waterways, and managing traffic flow to ensure safe and efficient movement through affected areas.

According to Francia, clearing operations focused on key thoroughfares such as Roman Expressway in Mariveles, Jose Abad Santos Avenue in Dinalupihan, and Gov JJ Linao Road in Bagac and Morong, ensuring that all national roads and bridges under their jurisdiction remained passable to all types of vehicles.

Meanwhile, District Engineer Maribel Navarro assured the public that the Bataan 3rd DEO’s Disaster QRT, comprising trained maintenance personnel equipped with backhoes, dump trucks, and other necessary machinery, will continue monitoring road conditions post-Typhoon Carina to maintain safe road travel in Bataan.

Multa namang Limang daan hanggang P2,500.00 ang maaaring kaharapin ng mga lalabag sa “Jose Abad Santos Avenue Keep Right Except To Overtake Ordinance” mula sa 1^st violation hanggang 3^rd violation.

Lahat ng mga motorista kasi sa JASA na mabagal ang takbo ng sasakyan ay mananatili sa right-hand lane maliban na lamang kung mago-overtake, kakaliwa sa isang intersection, o kapag iiwasan ang isang road obstruction.

According to a statement from Dra. Shirley Zipagan, the Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of DepEd Pampanga, the agency will continue to accept enrollees until the end of September.

As a result, it is projected that the number of enrollees for the School Year 2023-2024 will reach between 375,000 to 380,000.

Currently, 345,514 students have already enrolled in 564 public schools in Pampanga.
